FEILDIN ARKET.

Messrs A. H. Atkinson & 00.. Ltd., report a medinmentry of pigs, with rather lower values than for last few weeks. Poultry of mixed quality came foward in large numhers,we disposed of in all 400 birds, for good table quality a first class price was made in every case. Good sound table potatoes were in better demand. We quote : Pigs, weaners 3s 3d, 3s 6d, 4s, 4s 3d, 5s 6d ; stores 15s 6d to 19s; porkers 22s 6d to 245. Horses, 4 year spring carter. £l3, aged igelding £6 10s, harness mare £8 7s 6d. Poultry, at each, geese 2s to 2s 6d ; hens Is 3d to Is 6d; roosters and cockerels Is 6d, lsßd, Is lOd to 2s Id; ducks Is 6d, Is Bd, Is lOd, Is lid, to 2s Id ; turkeys 5s to 8s 6d ; p.b. white * Leghorn roosters 3s to 4s. Fruit and produce, peaches 3s 3s 9d to 4s per case; quinces Id Jper lb; potatoes 7s to 8s per 'sack, 901 b bags 3s 6d ; onions Id per lb; marrows 5s per dozen; pumpkins per lb; pie melons 9d each; chick wheat 7s per sack; factory bacon hams 7%d per lb; potatoe and chaff sacks 3s 6d dozen; dray £4 10s. We held large winding up sales during the week at the 0.T.0. Stores, also sale on behalf of Mr H. T. Thompson, Ranfurly road. Good clearances and satisfactory values were made in each case. STOCK REPORT. Messrs Dalgety & Co., Ltd., Palmerston N., report:—The following are prices obtained at our Feildlng sale on Friday the 2nd inst.: Gull ewes 3s 6d, mixed age ewes 6s to 7s 6d, 2 tooth wethers 9s 3d, bulls to £2 10a, 18 months steers £2 2s, 3 year steers to £3 ss, empty cows £2 os, dairy'oows £8 15b to £5 15s. Messrs Gorton & Son report;—At Feilding we had a good yarding of both sheep and cattle, which met with a dull sale and prices 'on a whole were in favour of pnrobaßers. A line of 29 nice 20 month Jersey heifers, on account Mrs S. J. Caldwell, met with a ready sale, and realised good prices. We quote: Small lambs 3b Id, 8s 7d and 4s 3d, good mixed lambs 5s Id, 5s 6d, 5s 7d, 5a lid and,6s 3d, cull ewes 2s 7d, f.m. ewes 4s, 4s Id, 5s Id, 6a and 6a 4d, 2 tooth wethers 9s 7d, 9a and 9s Bd, fat cows £3 15a to £4 14s, weaner steers 10s and 14s, 15 months steers 2s, 18 months steers £2, 2 year steers £2 14s 6d, 3 year .steers £8 14s nda £3 16s 6d, good conditioned 3% year steers £5 Bs, 18 months heifers 22s 6d, 80s, 32s 6d and 35a, heifers in calf £2 Is, 20 month grade Jersey heifers £4 15s. £5, £5 5s and £6, small grade Jersey heifers £8 to £4, grade Jersey weaner heifers £2 2s 6d to £2 ss. springing cows £4 and £5 Bs, bull £2.
