STOCK REPORT. ■- Loan and Mercantile report ;—At Rangiwahia on Monday we had a ■ good yalrding of sheep and a medinm , entry of cattle. The continual drv had its effect, ,• business •being anything bat brisk. Rota-tions:-Call lambs 4a 4d, wether lambs Bs, woolly lambs 8s 3d. A , number of rams disposed of at prides up to £3 35., Heifers in calf . small 34s to 33sj steers £3 2s, weaners 17s. At Kimbolton, on Tuesday, we had a good yarding of sheep and a fair attendance. Owing tp- the continued dry weather stock was hard to'qnit, and very little business v resulted. Quotations : Onll ewes 4s to 6s 6d, good f.m. ewes 9s, ( mixed lambs to 7s 6d, wearer steers 20s. i ; At !Feilding on Friday we had a ‘ good entry of sheep and a small larding of cattle. - With the exception of two small pens we quitted ■' the hole of our sheep entry, ' prices being sligntiy better than last sale s rates. The bulk of the yarding was of inferior qualityi bat there was a better demand for any good sorts or young ewes and good 1 straight lines of 4-year-olds. ,We quote:—Sheep: Cull ewes 3a 4d to ss' 7d, aged ewes 7s, 2-tooth ewes small and late shorn 9s lOd, 4 and 6-year ewes 10s sd, Romney ram lambs 15s. Cattle: Forward cows £3, bolls £3 ss. Messrs Gorton & Son report on their Feilding sale held yesterday as follows:—Mixed lambs 3s 9d, 4s Id, 6s 4d ; lambs 7s, call ewes 3s 6d, old ewes 4s 6d, small,2-tooth ewes 9a 6d, /* mixed aged ewes 6s, 2-tooth ewes 10s 6d, 10a 9d and lls 6d, good ewes and wethers 12S lOd, fat ewes 9a 2d, 2tootb Romney rams 21s, did Southdown rams 12a to 21s. Cattle:’ Mixed weaners 7a 6d, weaners 10s, cows £2 10s to £3 15s, fat cow £4, heifers,39a, bull 32s 6d. Messrs“Dalgety & Co. report on their Feilding sale held yesterday as follows;—Two-tooth wethers 10s 2d, 2-tootb Owes lls'6d, woolly lambs 5s Id, f.m. ewes 6s 3d, 2-year empty heifers £2 Bs, fat cows ,£2 15s, wild stags £2.“ . . Messrs Abraham & Williams, Ltd., Feilding, report on sale held here yesterday:—There was a small yarding of (both sheep 1 and ' cattle, and only admail attendance of buyers. Stock generally were only medinm. We quote :—F.m. ewes 6a Id, to 8s 9d, cull lambs 3s 6d to 4s 6d, 2-tootb wethers small 10s 2d, medinm Jambs 6s 3d, good f.m. ewes 10s 3d. Cattle: Fat cows £3 12s 6d to £3 17s 6d, bulls £2 10s to £2 15s, store cows 30s to £2, 18-month steers £2 5s
