ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

Per Press Association. Wellington, March 9. A yorith named Yon Keysenberg was admitted to the hospital on Sunday, suffering from a wound in the throat caused by a pea rifle exploding while he was out rabbit-shooting. He died to day, his wind-pipe having been cut through His father is at present also in the hospital, and his mother died recently. At the inquest it was stated that deceased’s coat caught on the trigger ot bis rifle, an while he was endeavouring to release it the rifle went off, deceased' being shot in the windpipe. A verdict of accidental death was returned. The coroner, Dr. McArthnr, S.M., added, a rider that ho conld not express too strongly his disapproval of lads who had no knowledge of guns taking out firearms.
