The Natal Mercury reports that an has been signed at Johannesburg whereby the Lorenzo Marques railway and port wiil be taken over by the British as part of the Union railway system. The agreement provides that Deiagoa Bay shall receive 50 per cent, of the Transvaal imuort trade.
