CRICKET.
MARTON v. SANDON. A match was played' between the above named teams at Sandon last Saturday. Sandon scored an easy victory “by an innings and eight runs. The Marton team, which was of a scratch description, were disposed of for 27 runs in the first innings. Sandon following put up 91 to their credit, while Marton in their second innings had not the 'batting strength to bring their combined totals on a level with Sandon. Feilding and Old Boys have now to play off to decide the holders of the Cup for the season. The Feildiog B team were defeated by Bunny thorpe by 73 runs in a one innings match. Bunuythorpe made 10G, extras 27, making top score. Feiiding responded with 33, no batsman making double figpres. Lyttou Street and. High School, Feilding, played a game, which resulted in an easy win for Lytton Street. / United continued their innings on-" Saturday at Feilding against Feilding and closed with 46.* This left FeilcUug the winner by an innings and five runs.
