WRECK OF THE FORREST HALL.

Auckland, March 2, Captain Collins, master of the Forrest Hall, states that the ship struck the beach about 20 miles, below Cape Maria about 10 o’clock on Saturday morning and is likely to become a total wreck. All-hands got ashore on Monday, after which the ship listed heavily to seaward, and at 3 pm. the seas were sweeping clean over her, at half way up the mainmast. Heir tack appears .to be broken and small quantities ctf wreckage have been washed up oathe beach. The crew on the beach were visited by Mr Yates,, wno treated all with every hospitality 1 .
