SECOND EDITION.

WANGANUI TRAINING NOTES.

Per Press Association. Wanganui, March 2. It is another lovely morning and the tracks very busy, most of the visiting horses having arrived. Armlet slipped over six furlongs in Imin 16sec, a similar task heiug registered by Gold Crest and Lady Medallist, Gold Orest going very nicely. Exmoor and Waimaria were companions in a mile gallop, finishing abreast in Imin 52seo. St. Aid an and Sir Tristram did strong working gallops, the latter going very pleasingly, and being evidently remarkably well. Advocate and Master Delaval, covered a mile in imin 47sec. Taitoko and Ail Red registered Imin 46seo for the same distance, All Red going particularly well. Downfall put in two rounds at pace, sprinting hoim in capital style, and apparently very fit. Chase Mab, Astraea and Tonderghie ran six furlongs, the latter being in front at the finish in imin 19sec, Muse and Flying Wind did the same distance nearly two seconds quicker. Moose jumped 'badly over the hurdles and crashed right through one, coming a cropper. His rider escaped unhurt, hut the horse appeared a bit sore. Mikotahi did not jnmp too well in a couple of rounds, Jwhile Sedgemoor jumped very badly. Tangimoana and Rangipapa did strong working gallops. Both are very well, the mare galloping freely. Useful work was done by a host of others.
