United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received March 2, 10.0 a.m. Melbourne, March 2. A deputation of the Society of Engineers urged the Minister for Defence to have all destroyers bnilt at Sydney. The Minister declared that it was impracticable to bnild the first boats locally. The Admiralty could not supply detailed plans necessary for building in Australia.
