Melbourne, March 2. ’ Mr Batchelor, Minister for External Affairs, was an interested spectator of the examination of the papers of fifteen Chinese seeking entry into the Commonwealth. Mr Batchelor states that the naturalisation papers purported to be issued to men of ages ranging from 45 to 70 whereas the ages of the holders ranged from 21 to 45, the majority certainly were not 30.
