PalinefStoh-if., February 35. At the Supreme Court to-day Mr Justice Chapman congratulated the district on the absence of serious crime, the calendar only containing cases inevitable in a district such as this. r He was particularly pleased to note an entire absence of sexual crime such as had given great trouble in our CJourts in some districts in times At one time it looked as if that clans of offence had become most prevalent and now not only here but in other places in the Dominion, Judges had been able to congratulate the district on the absence of such crimes.
