ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Per Press Association. Westport, February 15. Peter Sangwell, aged 33, a wharf labourer, went into a recess opening on to the river at 4.30 p.m on Tuesday last, and was not again seen alive. The body was recovered from the river this morning. The man apparently fell through an opening, and struck his head on a beam of timber from the .mark on his head.
