At the Church Scoialist League Demonstration in Trafalgar Square the speakers included, besides several clergyman, Dr. Clifford and a number of other non-conformist ministers, who urged the Government to take immediate steps to compel Mr Burns to distribute the money voted for the unemployed and also demanded that Parliament should make the question of work or maintenance with training the first business ot the session.
