f IRE, Per Press Association. Christchurch, February 11. The homestead at Glenroy, near Glentunnel, a 7-romed house with dairy and storeroom, the property of Frank Hiatt, was burned down at midnight on Tuesday. Nothing was saved. The inmates, Mr and Mrs Hiatt and child, had a narrow escape.
