ARBITRATION COURT.

Per Press Association. Dunedin, February 3.

At the Arbitration Court this morning Helm Key and Sou, pastry cooks, were fined £3 and costs for employing a non-unionist. For employing without a permit an apprentice who had not completed his indenture, Telford Weir, tailor, was fined £2 and costs; D. Samuel, an. employer, and Joseph Ayears, an employee, were fined £2 and £1 respectively for breach of the bakers’ award. Ayers was paid 45s weekly as second hand, instead of 50s. T. Fogo, painter, for exceeding hia limit in the number of apprentices, was fined £3 and costs.
