LATEST REPORT. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph, Copyright. Received January 33, 9,64 a.m. Loudon, January 31. Wool: Spirted competition ; prices unchanged. The wool sales included ,Mako Huia 9%d.
Messrs Murray, Roberts & 00. have received the following market cablegram from their London agents, Messrs Sanderson, Murray, & 00., dated ;19th January, 1909: —The sales have opened with a large attendance of buyers and keen competition. The market for merino and fine crossbred is firm, but shows no material change. Cross to medium crossbred has advanced 5 to 10 per cent, descriptions suitable for America showing the greatest advance.
