The Taranaki Tennis Tournament was continued to-day. Rough aud wet Vveathur precluded play during the morning, but from about two o’clock the weaker cleared and the courts soon became playable.

Men’s Championship Singles.— Parker beat Dr. Fookes, Fisher beat Oapleo, Wilding beat W. Pearse, Jennings beat A. Powdrell. Championship Doubles. Taylor and Black beat Nicholson and Smith, Parker and 1 Brown beat Pearse and Morton, Fisher and Wilding heat Powdrell. Championship Singles.— Second round: MissNunneley beat Miss Cave 6—o, 6—o, Miss Powdrell beat Mrs E. Jones 6 —l, 6—o, Mrs Payne beat Miss V. Simpson 6—o, 6—l. Third round : Miss Nunneley heat Miss L, Thomson 6—o, 6—o. Combined Ohampiosnhip Doubles. —Miss Nunneley and Wilding heat Miss Thomson and Taylor 6-0, 6—3.
