The Miners’ Federation, in response to a cablegram from New Zealand Miners’ Federation, adopted a resolution pledging assistance to New Zealand miners and promising at once to co-operate with waterside; workers with a view to cutting off supplies of coal to New Zealand. What steps the Federation proposes to take to carry the resolution into effect were not disclosed.
