WEDDING.

WARRINER—SMITH.

A quiet' but pretty wedding took place at the resMehce of , the bride’* parents on December 23rd, when Ethel, third daughter of Mr W. Smith. Bulls, was married to Jack, only son of Mr R. Warriner, of Greatford, Rev. Carr, Marton, officiating. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore an Empire gown of pale creme orepoline, trimmed wih silk insertion and transparent yoke and sleeves of: tucked net. She also wore the orthodox veil 'and orange blossoms, and carried a pretty shower bouquet. The three bridesmaids, Miss Warriner, sister of the bridegroom, and. the Misses F. and M. Smith, sistersof the bride, wore white embroidered frocks with white hats and carried bonqnets of pink flowers. The bridegroom was attended by his 1 cousin, Mr F. Mansell as best man. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a handsome gold cable bangle and to each of the bridesmaids gold brooches. After the ceremony afternoon tea was served =to the guests. Later in the evening the happy couple left for their future home amid showers of rice and good wishes. The bride wore a smart tailor-made costume and pale blue hat trimmed with tulle and shaded feathers. The newly-married couple were the recipients of a number of valuable and useful presents
