Press Association. New Plymouth, June 19. At the Harbour Board meeting today the following letter was received from the Public Trustee and executors of the late Sir A. J. Oadman; “Wo regret,to have to again request the extension of the leases of ironsand on the foreshore at New ETymout.'j, and in doing so would mention that we had every reason to beliovevthat the company was floated in Loudon, and the amount duei to us ivas to be paid ablout the middle of November last, atid the works commenced at once, ‘unfortunately, "the big slump iin the English and American money - markets occurred and knocked all arrangements on the head. We now harve a New Zealand syndicate arranging to take the matter up,; and pay a heavy deposit as a guarantee of bona rides.
