NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.
PALMERSTON NORTH. Some idea may be gained of thecomprehensive nature of the National Dairy Show from , the arrangements included in the following pro gramme:— The Show opens on Tuesday next, the 23rd inst., at 12 noon, His Excellency the Governor officiating. On that day the opening Conferences of the National Dairy Association,, and the New Zealand Butter and x Cheese Maker’s Association takes place, and the Exhibition is open tovisitors. On Wednesday, Conference addresses will be given by the Acting Dairy Commissioner and staff, besides a discussion on the system f instruction on butter factories, in £ the afternoon the hunter and pony % jumping competition will be decided iu the show ring. In the evening the New Zealand Dairy Secretaries Insti- , tute hold their annual meeting. \ Thursday is a red letter day for the- f country schools, free admission.
