FOXTON BAR.
YESSELS BUMP OR ROLL OVER. Press Association, Palmerston N., June 18. Reports from Foxton indicate that the bar is in a particularly bad state despite spring tides now prevailing. During the week the Gertie bumped while' crossing the bar and damaged her propeller, necessitating twelve hours’ detention, The Kennedy is reported to have rolled across the bar on Wedvnesday night, but the Himatangi gojj over without mishap. -"/f Jlf
