Per Press AssociationChristchurch, June 17. At the Magistrate’s Court to-day Matthew James Susan, licensee of the Bower Hotel, was fined £5 for selling liquor after hours. Wellington, June 17. In the Magistrate’s Court: to-day Patrick Ryan was committed for trial on a charge of indecently assaulting a girl. William Edward Mackie was committed for trial on a charge of assaulting Samuel Juliffe and robbing him of a gold watch valued at £SO.
