STOCK MARKETS. New Zealand Loan & Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Feilding report as follows: Apiti, Tuesday, we had a good yarding of sheep and a medium yarding of cattle. Our entry was mainly composed of good lines of lambs which sold freely. Quotations ; Sheep, wether lambs Ss Sd to 9s _ 2d, ewe lambs 8s 7d to 10s 4d, mixed lambs Gs Id to 8s Id, cull lambs 3s to ss, 2 and 4 tooth ewes in lamb 16s 6d, cull ewes 3s 9d, fat ewes 10s lid to 11s 6d, 2 tooth ewes ■ in lamb 10s 4d. Cattle, fat heifers £4, forward heifers £3 35,“ empty cows 335, cows and calves £3 12s, springing cows £3 10s to £4, mixed weaners 14s. At Feilding on Friday we had a good yarding of both sheep and cattle. 'Except for good forward lambs, prices were slightly easier than last week, but business was done and all lines but two were quitted. Cattle were slow of sale at late rates. Quotations: Sheep, cull lambs 2s 2d to 3s, medium lambs 4s 9d to Gs 3d, forward lambs Ss 4d, cull ewes 4s4d, 2 tooth ewes in lamb 12s, 2 tooth Lincoln ewes in lamb 16s, f.m. ewes in lamb 10s, forward ewes 8s 7d. Cattle, yearling steers 20s, store cows 2os to 33s Gd, forward cows £2 2s Gd, cows in calf £2 12s.

Messrs Kaye & Carter, Ltd., Christchurch, report on June 10th Wheat, milling, (Tuscan) 4s 9d to 4s lOd, Pearl 4s lid to ss, Hunters 4s 9d to 4s lOd, fowl wheat 4s 7d to 4s Bd, f.o.b. sacks extra. The market is easier, bub most holders still refuse to accept market rates, consequently there is very little business passing. Oats, A Cartons 2s to 2s 9d, B Cartons 2s to 2s Bd, Sparrowbills .to"2sJ[Sd, Danish 2s 7d to 2s Duns 2s 7d to 2s 9d, f.o.b. Lyttelton, sacks included. Tbe market is quiet and trade very dull. Potatoes, £4 12s Gd to £5. Market firm, deliveries .^lling^oif.
