Per Press Association. Wanganui, June 10. At the Magistrate’s Court to-day a anm was lined £lO in default two months’ imprisonment for supplying liquor to a prohibited person. The Magistrate said that ho would always inflict the maximum penalty where it was proved that accused supplied liquor knowing the recipient was a prohibited person. Another defendant for failing to comply with an order of the Court to contribute towards the snpjjorfc of his wife was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment, 'unless the arrears were paid.
