HOSPITAL BOARDS’ CONFERENCE.

, June 10. At tiie Hospital and* Charitable Aid Boards’ Conference it was decided that tiie present basis of contributions be accepted, and that the principle of continuity of office be affirmed.

In reply to a question Dr. Yalintine said Government did not intend to abolish separate institutions that could maintain themselves, but those institutions that had to come on the rates would probably be taken over by tho Boards. Those who found the money should have the spending of it

The Conference resolved that the system of separate .institutions at present in force be approved, and continued in cases in which a majority of contributing anthoiities desire it.
