Palmerston N., June ff. ' ; The criminal sessions of the" Supreme Court; commenced this morning. Addressing the ’ Grand Jury Justice Cooper expressed pleasure at the very light jiature of the business to come before the jury and congratulated the district on the comparative absence of crime remarking that it was very refreshing to travel on circuit and find both in Palmerston and Wanganui a comparative absence of serious offences.
