Henry Milburn, alleged habitual® drunkenness ; with maintenance; appearance filed ; no defence. . CIVIL. George B. N. Anderson v. George Searle, damages £531 13s. R. Essex v. E. D. Hoben (Mr O. A. Loughnan), alleged libel, £5Ol. W. J. Connor v. W. Waugh, damages £lO3l Gs. W. Hamer v.. Horublow, alleged libel, £5Ol.
J. K. Ross v. R. S. Abraham and others (Manawatu Racing Club) damages £IOOO for alleged Injury to character by a refusal to grant license to bet on the second day of the Manawatu races in April. The foregoing are jury cases.
