Per Press Association. Gisborne, June 8. Andrew Walwick, an elderly man, engineer of the trawler Endon, is missing. He is believed to have fallen overboard. The Shaw, Saviile Company’s Matatua, bound from Auckland to Wellington, put in here yesterday for medical assistance. At 4 p.m. yesterday, when off East Cape, Robert Galway, sixth engineer, was found in an unconscious state ’tween decks just aft of the cross bunker. It is surmised that he missed his footing and fell from the deck above. The health officer boarded the steamer and found r the man with his face and head cut and bruised and suffering from concussion of the brain. He was brought ashore and removed to the hospital.
