DUEL BETWEEN MAN AND WIFE.

Paris, April 12,

This morning in the Rue Therese, in the Palais Royal quarter, a middle-aged married couple named De Lanet, living on private means, had a duel with revolvers. Seven shots were exchanged. The husband had since died and the wife is lying dangerously wounded in the hospital. No reason has yet been discovered for the quarrel. According to their neighbours the couple, who kept very much to themselves, appeared to be on very good terms with each other. Mme. De Lanot, who before her manage was a Miss Helen Arvau, is a native of Dublin.
