Pichon and Admiral Jauraginberry (of the cruiser Leon Gambetta) have been created honorary Knights of the Grand Cross of the Victorian Order. President Fallieres, when quitting Dover, sent a message to King Edward in which he renewed his thanks for the warnrreception given him, and assured his Majesty that he carried away an everlasting remembrance of his stay in London. King Edward sent , r a felicitous reply.
