Loudon, May 20. , The Duke of Argyle, presiding at a meeting of the London Central Emigration Board, commended the Commonwealth’s example and made a donation of £IOO to the lands. The representatives of Canada and Australia, testified to ftfi usefulness of the institution. The Morning Post says that the State jealousy of the Federal authority seems to be thwarting Mr paakxn’s practical immigration proposal.
