SANDON OLD BOYS’ ASSOCIATION,
The annual meeting of the ; above Association was held on .Sj&fewrelay. There was a large attendance of members, Mr W. J. Crouaher being in the chair. The report "Sand balance-sheet shewed a credit balance of 6s Id. The election of officers resulted as follows :—President, Mr G. Williams; vice-presidents, F. Grace, W. J. Phillips, W. J. Oroucher; committee, .Messrs J. Anderson, F. Bailey, L. Anderson, J Cockbnrn, P. Egliugton, P. Bowater, A. Immsden, H. Thompson. A. Harris, F. Fagan, H. Fagan, J. Williams, J. Masters, A. Sanson, G. McKenzie, M. Pearce, G. Hirst, W. Seat, S. Penny, A. Matthews, i. Read and W. Pearce; secretary and treasurer, Harold Bowater; assistant secretary, A. Penny. Resolved — That the annual re-nmon he held on the 36th June and that the form of gathering be the same as last year. Owing to the very large attendance at the annual re-union last year the difficulty in accommodating them a discussion ensued as to the beat means of limiting the invitations and it was decided that members, if married., invite their -’own household; if single, one lady or gentleman. That Old Boys ‘.vithin 25 miles of Sandon are expected to become members of the Association. That a marque? bo hired for use as an additional supper room. That the hall committee be asked to extend the accommodation in the supper room by using narrower tables. , , ~ A wish was expressed that all members would refrain from bringing any intoxicating liquors in or near the premises. A committee meeting is to be bold next Saturday evening.
