• Two squadrons of the 21st Dancers ascended an amphitheatre from the base,at Khapak Pass, 30 miles northwest of Peshawar, when they were suddenly fired 'onijjfrom all sides.
Two were wounded. The 57th and 59th Rifles were sent to support the Lancers, whereupon the enemy retired. The pass was occupied.
