Messrs Dalgety & Company, Ltd., reportWo held our usual sale ot stock at Huntorville on Tuesday the 12th inst. when we had a fair yardin 0 of sheep and a small entry ot cattle. There was a little better enquiry tor breeding ewes, and forward conditioned sheep of all classes were ready of sale. Empty backward ewes 4a lid, mixed age ewes in lamb 9s Id, small 2 tooth wethers 9s 7d. haltbred wethers very forward 11s sd, %y 2 to 3 year steers £3 Bs, %% year empty heifers £2l ss, small yearling steers bad colours £25, empty cows 335, fat and forward cows £3 18s. The New Zealand Loan & Mecranfilfl Aeencv Co., Ltd., report:—At our Apiti last Tuesday there was a ;_fair yarding of sheep and a good one of cattle. Bidding was fairly brisk, and most ot the stock forward that we quitted. We nuote;—Two-tooth wethers small 9s 9d, weaner lambs 6s lOd, mixed aged ewes 9s 6d, full-mouth ewes 8s lOd. Cattle: steers £3 lOs. forward heifers £2 15s. far. heifers £3 4s, fat steers £4 12s, springing heifers £8 16s, forward cows £2, woauers to 16s.
