Nelson, May 14. The Premier, Lady Ward, and Mr R. McKenzie, M.P., arrived at Murchison last night by motor. Representative residents met the party at the punt crossing, and school children waving end cheering lined the road, while Norah McFarlaue presented'a bouquet to Lady Ward. In the evening a Social gathering was lield, and deputations were received « the latter including one from Murchinson branch of the Inland Communication Leagne urging the fulfilment of the Government covenant to complete the extension of Nelson railway to Buffer Valley. On the journey from Dennistou several deputations were received.
