Enchanted States led into the straight, but Destinist came away and won comfortably by a length and a half. There was a similar distance between second and third. Time, 2min 54sec. The racehorse Elevation, owned and raced by Mr Bidwill, of Masterton, which broke down badly while in training in Sydney, arrived in Wellington to-day by the steamer Ulimaroa. He lias to some extent recovered from his weakness, and it is the hope of his trainer (Farmer) to pull him together and get a good race or two out of him next season.
