DRUIDS’ HALL, MARTON.
'(Contributed.) Mr Curran had another ? good congregation last*night at the Druids’ Hall. One feature of the service was its improved singing which was helped along wonderfully with a small organ. The text of the meeting was “Future Judgments,” and most of the time was taken up in referring to the different scriptures that bear upon this subject. The meeting was not long, but telling, and at the end of his remarks Mr Curran pointed out the necessity of Christians being faithful to their fellowmen, and of those who make no profession coming to a decision now, laying stress on the fearful consequences of being too late. For Sunday night it is announced that a native interpreter will take a good share of the service. Mr Davis is a converted Maori who gives much of his time and means to evangelistic work and is a very able speaker. It is not often that an opportunity like this is given of hearing a platform speech from one of our own natives, and it is pretty certain that the Druids’ Hall will be taxed to its. utmost to accommodate the people. We have no hesitation in commending this meeting to the people as by what we know of Mr Davis the truths of the Bible will be clearly and interestingly expounded.
