AUCKLAND CITY FINANCE.
Per Press Association. Auckland, May 6
Mr A. Myers was installed Mayor of Auckland for his fourth term at noon. He stated that the total indebtedness of the City on March 31st, 1908, was £702,267; while loans authorised, but not floated, totalled £315,300. Ordinary revenue last year was £46,159 and current expenditure £69,855. The rateable value of the City was £505,580, an incease of £30,863 during the year.
