At a meeting, of Wanganui Rugby Union last evening a letter was read from Secretary of Rangitikei Union objecting to Turakina being iilcluded in the Wanganui boundary on the - ground that the parent body had _decided by resolution last year to allow Turakina to come under the jurisdiction of the Rangitikei SubUnion after 1907. Mr A. W. Mountfort, delegate for the Rangitikei Union, waited on the meeting and explained that his tlnion Jwero anxious to have their boundary tended to the Wangaelm river.—Resolved that a sub-committee consisting of Messrs Tilley, Craig, and Gray he set up to inquire into the matter and report at the next meeting. The Wanganui Union adopted a similar course last year in the matter of the Sub-Union’s by-laws, and on inquiries being lately made it was found that the Committee had neglected to meet. Apparently the delay in coming to a decision iu the matter of a boundary line will again debar Turakina from playing iu the junior contest in Rangitikei this season. The question will he referred to the N. Z. Union if the decision ol Wanganui is’Against the request of the Sub-Union.—The hen. secretary of the Man gaweka Football Club wrote isking that Mr Dixon's disqualification he removed.—Resolved that in accordance with the letter the request be granted.
