DRUIDS’ HALL SPECIAL MISSION.

(Contributed.) The address at the above hall last evening was as advertised —‘ ‘ Christ’s Second fOoming, ” —which proved to be a very impressive subject. The speaker dwelt at some length on the importance of the event as regards the masses generally, pointing out particularly the necessity of being ready, as only those who are prepared to meet Him at His return will “go in with Him to the marriage.” Acts 1, 9-11, was read to show how He would come; Luke 12-40 to show when He would come ; 1 Thes. 4- I G-l8 to show where He would come; Matt. 25. 1-12 to show who would be ready to meet Him, and many other Scriptures which served to prove how deeply solemn such an event must be to all. Mr Curran is convinced that the day of grace has well nigh run its course, using Scripture to prove his statement in a way that it would not be easy to confute. The attendance was all that could be expected and the address attentively listened to. Mr Curran makes no attempt to give any date when the event will take place, but urges his hearers to be “ready.” Sunday night’s subject is to be “ Sceptical questions answered ’ ’ and will, no doubt, comraand’a large audience that will be well repaid for attending.
