Auckland, May 2

Mr Kettle, S.M., to-day gave his decision in the Nautical Court Enquiry, on the collision between the Union steamer Wairuna and the scow Moonah, in which a seaman, Fred Smith, was drowned. The Court was unable to conclude that the Wairuna was in any way responsible for tho collision, and was of opinion that the master of the ketch was solely responsible. The Court ordered costs to be paid by the" master of the Moonah, aud that hjs certificate be suspended for sis months.
