THE PROFESSIONAL TEAM. Per Press Association. —Copyright. Received April 23, 10.8 a.m. Sydney, April 23. The New Zealand footballers defeated a team selected by Newcastle Union, by 63 to 6. There were few spectators. Tries were scored by Rowe 3, R. Wynyard 2, Johnson, Duinin, Messenger, Tyler, Tyne and Wrigley. Of these six were converted by Messenger, two by Turtle, one each by Tyler and Johnston.
