AYORAL ELECTIONS.
Councillors McDonald and Walker are the only nominations for the City of Dunedin mayoralty.
r ‘ Mr H. L. Michel has been elected Mayor of Hokitika unopposed. Pastor Ries was the only candidate nominated for the Daunevirke mayoralty. Mr R. Milligan has been elected Mayor of Oamaru unopposed for the fourth consecutive term.
Mr Nicholson was unopposed at Hampden. Mr C. E. Mac Kay has been reelected unopposed for Mayor of Wanganui. Mr J. McEldowney has been elected Mayor of Marton unopposed. Mr A. M. Myers has been elected Mayor of Auckland for the . fourth term unoposed. The following’have been nominated for the Mayoralty of Masterton:—P. L. Hollings and J. M. Coradine, the present Mayor.
Two candidates have been nominated for the mayoralty of Timaru, J, Oraigle and T. Hawkey, the former is the present mayor, and the latter has been a member of the Borough Council for 14 years.
