STOCK REPORT. Messrs Abraham & Williams, Ltd., report on Hunterville sale, March J4th We had good yardings of both sheep and cattle, for which there was better demand than of late. We quote :—Sheep, forward 4 and 6-tooth wethers 13s 9d, 3-tooth wethers (good) 13s Id to la 7d, small 8s 4d ,to 9s 9d, culls 6s, 3 and 4-tooth ewes in lamb 17s 6d to 13s 3d, 4-tooth to f.f.m. Bs, s.m. ewes 4s 3d to 6s, fat and forward ewes 5s 4d to 13s 9d, mixed lambs 5s Id, culls Is Id. Cattle, forward cows £3 16s, fat cows £3 7s 6d to £4 17s 6d, empty heifers 30s to £3 18s, cows and calves 38s, fat bullocks £7, year steers £3 8s to £3 5s 6d to £3 14s 6d. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsouville sale as follows:—A full entry of beef, mostly cows and heifers, from prime to medium sorts. The bullocks were only fair. Ox beef made 33s 6d, plain steers SOs, cow beef from 8s to SOs, heifers SBs. best bullocks £7 17s 6d to £8 7s 6d. light £7 to £7 13s 6d, stores £1 7s 6d, heifers £6 to £6 8s 6d, £5 10s to £5 17s 6d, cows £4 5s to £4 17s 6d. A good yarding of sheep, mostly prime quality, made—Wethers, prime 17s lOd, others 16s Id and 15s Id, ewes 13s lid to 14s lOd, plain 11s 6d, lambs 11s 3d to 12s, 13s 7d to 13s lOd, cull ewoa 3s. cull lambs 5s 6d.
