Received April 14, 10 a.m. Sydney,' April 14. The Heiaid’s Melbourne correspondent reports that Mr Deakiu [yielded to the pressure of his colleagues in retaining office. When the House meets on Wednesday a postponement of the motion for a Royal Commission on the Post Office will be asked for until the tariff is passed. If not postponed Mr Deakiu will resign at once.
