BIG FIRE AT BOSTON.

Press Association —Copyright. Received April 18, 9.58 p.m. New York, April 13. A fire destroyed over a square mile at Chelsea, a suburb of Boston. Thirteen- churches, two public libraries, the children’s hospital, a dozen factories and 400 tenement buildings were burned. The damage is estimated at a million and a half sterling. The fire is still unsubdued. One death occurred and there are 50 cases of injury. The embers were blown across 'the Chelsea River and caused several of the Standard oil tanks to blow up. Received April 14, 8.29 a.m. New York, April 13.. The fire started in a rag picker’s shop. Ten thousand persons are rendered homeless. Four additional deaths are reported. The damage done is valued at two millions.
