SERIOUS MOTOR ACCIDENT.

A serious accident occurred to Mr L. McKelvie’s motor-car with seven occupants while going home from Bulls sale yesterday afternoon. The car had readied some little distance beyond the Par&wauni School when a horse jumping from the fence came in collision with it and it capsized, the whole of the occupants of the car being mors or less severely injured. Dr Watson was telephoned for and was quickly on the scene. Dr. Martin from Palmerston also arrived shortly affni'. An ambulance was sent for and two were ftaken to Palmerston Hospital, the other sufferers being attended to on the spot. Among the occupants of the car, besides Mr Lin McKelvie, were : Messrs Amon (2), Sim, Atkinson and two others. Mr Sam Amon bad his thigh broken, Mr Bert Amon his ankle broken, and Mr Len McKelvie bis collar-bone broken. The others escaped more lightly. The car was very badly injured and the horse was killed.
