FATAL COLLIERY EXPLOSION.
Press Association—Copyright. Received April 11, 88.0 a.m. London, April 10. An explosion took place at North Hill Colliery, Somerset, when 30 of the night shiftgwere below. Twenty escaped, but 10 wepe suffocated, despite repeated heroic attempts at rescue. Many of the rescuers were carried out' insensible, and one was dead.
