The polo tournament was contin* ued at Miramar this atfernoon. The. weather was favourable and there were a fair number of spectators. An excellent game in the competitions for the Savile Cup took place between Hawke’s Bay and Mangaheia, the former winning by 7 to L The play was exciting throughout. Nelson, for Hawke's Bay, played a magnificent game, scoring four of the seven goals for his side. Williams and Reynolds played well for. Mangaheia. The only other game was a handicap cup match between Rangitikei and Manawatu. Rangitikei had to. concede four goals, but they notched ' four before Manawatu scored, so, thar from this out the chances were level. Manawatu played up well and added five goals to their opponents three, the game thus ending Manawatu 9, Rangitikei 7.
The annual meeting of the New Zealand Polo Association was held to-night. The balance-sheet showed a credit for the - .year of £6 12s lOd. It was decided to: hold the next annual tournament at Palmerston N. ' Officers were elected as follows ■ President, His Excellency the Governor; Vice-President, ~R. S. Abra--ham; Committee, A. H, Russell, D. G. A. Cooper, S. Williamson, J. D., Hall, R. L. Levin; Secretary, C. J. - Crawford; E. Bucholz., Affiliation was granted to the Opotiki and Pareora Clubs.
