QUEBEC TERCENTARY.

WANTED A DOMINION REPRESENTATIVE. Per Press Association. Auckland. March 20. The Premier has received through the Governor from the GovernorGeneral of Canada the following communication :—“The responsible Ministers request me to forward an invitation to your Prime Minister to come to Quebec to be their guest during the celebrations at which H.R.H. tne Prince of Wales will be present during the week, July 22ud to July 29th. He sincerely hopes the Prime Minister will be able to attend personally and if that is not posisble that he will in any case send a representative. Sir Joseph Ward replied through His Excellency expressing his regret that as Parliament will be sitting at the time named he will be unable personally to accept the invitation but hopes to arrange to have the Dominion of New Zealand suitably represented.
